Just noted that the NM Class Championship and a Santa Fe Rooks tournement are both scheduled for July 15. How could this happen? NM ia not such a powerhouse of chess that we will benefit from conflicting tournaments.

It would be helpful to have some insight into the possible NM Tournaments that could happen in the next year. I'm not suggesting a commitment to hold a tourney, but the various thoughts of the various organizers on what might be coming up. My reason is that I make long range commitments and lose flexibility in the mid and short term. Without insight into what is being considered, I can schedule myself out of the opportunity to play. Sorry, but no category fit this post.
