2023 New Mexico State Championship

The 2023 New Mexico State Champion was held December 1-3. It was a 5 round FIDE and USCF rated round robin tournament at G/90+30. Invitations for this tournament were sent to the following qualifiers:

• Abhishek Mallela (winner of Albuquerque/Rio Rancho Open)

• Corbin Gustafson (winner of New Mexico Class Championship - Expert/Master section)

• Ben Coraretti (winner of New Mexico Open)

• Valerie Barker (2nd place - New Mexico Open)

• Harshin Jagirapu (2nd place - New Mexico Open)

• Brad Langer (2nd place - New Mexico Open)
